Golf V 2.0 FSI Comfortline

I've owned this car for 8 years, and I know the previous owner who also maintained it well. I recently bought a newer version of the VW Golf and it is time to sell this one.

It's a good, reliable, fun car. Full service record. You'll see in the pictures it is a beautiful metalic blue, with wear and tear in line with a 19 year old car (noted below). The car is being sold as-is, from a private seller/owner.

You will see that the car's stereo system has been upgraded to a Kennwood DNX5190DABS touchscreen entertainment system, which seamlessly links to your phone via blue-tooth for music or telephone calls. It also includes Garmin GPS navigation which works very well. This stereo system alone is worth €739 currently on Amazon. It is wired so that it can be powered on, even when the car is not on for entertainment even when the car is off. The original VW radio is also included.

The car is currently fitted with winter tires, and includes summer tires on the original VW rims. I had it serviced in April 2024.

You will love the retractable sun-roof, the dualzone heating, cruise-control, and the faux-wood steering wheel and panel accents are a beautiful touch. There are two keys

There are minor dings and scratches on the outside, most noteably a significant dent on the left rear wheel-well, which was there when I bought the car 8 years ago. There are chips, scratches, and spots of rust on the hood, bumpers and other parts of the car which you would expect for a car of this age. Inside the car, the front dashboard has some cracks from years of sun and heat, and the ceiling lining around the rear lamp is loose (see picture). The rear VW logo has some corosion, which existed when I bought the car. There is a professionally drilled hole in the glove box, presumably made to mount a telephone holder or similar device, this existed when I purchased the vehicle. The central locking system works well, except for unlocking the driver door, which requires manual unlocking. One of the remote keys needs a new battery.
