1974 Land Rover Series 3 Santana 88. Stunning car with beautiful color and patina. I have had several Land Rovers and no two are the same but this one is loved by public the most, has a character to it.
As I am a mechanic, everything has been completed including full engine flush, coolant system flush, new fuel and oil filters, oil bath fully cleaned and replenished, new clutch, valve clearances set up correctly, new valve rubbers fitted, fuel pump correctly aligned and new but original quality radiator fitted, all brakes blended and new brake fluid run through the system. Underside of the car has been fully degreased and cleaned and Lanoguard has been applied to the whole chassis and underbody including all wheel arches and under engine parts. Gearbox oil has been drained and replaced with high quality kroon classic. Both front and back differential oil has been also replaced with kroon Clàssic oil. For main engine oil, following several engine flushes Castrol Classic oil was used in the final inspection. All underside is rust free including the bulkhead.
This vehicle was dry stored for 23 years hence it was a gem when discovered, full photos of this storage can be sent. Following purchase it passed its ITV / MOT the following day. The only issue it experienced was contaminated brake and clutch fluid which was drained and replaced from 23 years of standing in storage.
Following storage the entire body has been buff polished with a mashine and polished with wax protection.
Price is negotiable but unfortunately not by much as all this work was undertaken from taking 3 months off work as I had planned to keep this car forever but I have just bought a pickup truck.
